One of my friends helps this elderly lady out. the other day she asked them to put flea and tick control stuff on the cat. the next day the cat was sick and shaking. They looked at the container and it said it was for dogs. is it dangerous that the cat licked it of of her and what will happen to the cat? What should they do about the cat when they can’t afford to take it to the vet? Will it kill the cat? What are some bad signs that could happen to the cat?

sick and shaking? Sounds like it was poisoned. Call the nearest emergency pet clinic, and ask them for advice, the call is free so don’t wait. Dying by poison will be very painful. Please call.
Good luck.
